Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026

Flash402 (“the Service”) is a no-code gateway that puts an x402 (HTTP 402) payment in front of an API you control. By connecting a wallet or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Testnet & no financial advice

This build runs on the Base Sepolia testnet and moves test tokens with no monetary value. Nothing here is financial, investment, or legal advice.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You may only monetize APIs on a domain you own or control. Domain ownership is checked via a DNS TXT record; putting an API you are not authorized to charge for behind the gateway is prohibited.
  • You are responsible for your wallet, keys, and every transaction you sign.
  • You will not use the Service for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, or to proxy content you have no right to distribute.

3. Payments

Payments settle onchain via the x402 protocol and its facilitator. Onchain transactions are irreversible and outside our control. Flash402 is not a custodian, broker, or money transmitter, and never holds your funds — payments go directly from the payer to the pay-to address you configure.

4. Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,”without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue it at any time.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flash402 and its authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of funds, data, or profits arising from your use of the Service.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

7. Contact
